Escrow should be released on the spot during the in-person exchange. Always use escrow. It's there for your safety. Open a payment dispute if you run into trouble. Once you open a trade, messages are end-to-end encrypted so your privacy is protected. The only case where we can read your messages is if either party initiates a dispute.
